ABOUT US
Adam's career in the events industry began with managing a theatre in Devon, where he developed a passion for working in live events. This passion led to a period of touring with various theatre and musical productions before he established his own production company in the South West. The company provided all aspects of production across a range of events, including live entertainment, corporate, and entertainment sectors.
Adam's talent and experience in the production industry led him to London, where he started working in broadcast television. He gained new skills while working on shows such as "Strictly Come Dancing" and "Top Gear" and found his love for specialising in broadcast audio.
As a performing musician himself, Adam understands the importance of high-quality technical production and its impact on a performance. This experience has given him a unique perspective on delivering exceptional sound quality and technical production management services.
Adam's passion for the industry continues to grow since he co-founded Big Door Broadcast with his wife Dee. He brings years of experience and expertise to the company, providing broadcast services to a wide range of clients, from supporting local churches, music hubs, and grassroots arts organizations to providing broadcasting services at events at the Royal Albert Hall.
Adam remains committed to delivering exceptional sound quality and technical production management services to Big Doors clients and is excited to work with them to see their projects and events develop even further in the future.
Dee is an accomplished musician, educator, and conductor with a wealth of experience in various roles. After completing her Bachelor of Music degree in Dunedin, New Zealand, she began teaching curriculum music in primary schools alongside her career as a trombonist.
Several years later, Dee moved to London, where she established herself as a respected music educator and conductor, leading music departments in primary schools. Alongside these roles, she also became an integral part of the core team of a local Music Hub and more recently took on a role within Brass Bands England. In these positions, she gained valuable insights into the needs of both education and arts organisations, as well as experience in event management and delivering high-quality performances.
Since co-founding Big Door Broadcast with her husband Adam, Dee has been able to draw on her experience to provide tailored solutions to a wide range of clients.
